Nothingface Working On New Material

Blabbermouth.net reports: The original NOTHINGFACE lineup — Matt Holt (vocals), Bill Gaal (bass), Chris Houck (drums) and Tom Maxwell (guitar; also in HELLYEAH) — regrouped earlier this year and started writing and recording music for a new album. This marked the first time the band's original members had worked together as a unit since NOTHINGFACE's "Violence" record in 2000. Gaal says: "I've been working with my brothers in NOTHINGFACE, trying to get this new record finished. The big problem right now is that we are all living in different parts of the country, so we can't get together as often as we would like like. But to all 'The Sick' out there, don't worry, we've got a pretty epic record in the works and this is probably the first time since 'An Audio Guide to Everyday Atrocity' [1998] that we are all really on the same page about what we're trying to accomplish. It should be pretty amazing!"

I guess they did kick Jerry Montano out after the Hell Yeah incident... oh well, Gale is a way better bassist anyway. I liked Tommy Sickles more on drums though but I figure it is just cause of that side band he started he wont be in on this. Hopefully they put aside the stuff they were working on and make all new material, I want to hear another album as good as Audioguide!

Mimic, you must not of given their old stuff much of a listen if you only like Skeletons, still a good album but Audioguide and Pacifier were amazing, Audioguide, Violence, Pacifier, Skeletons in that order for me personally... Skeletons was more of a showoff for Holt's vocals and Sickle's drumming in my opinion.

I'm glad this band is working on some new stuff. One of my biggest regrets is not seeing them on Ozzfest 03, the summer in which Nu-metal died. I like all there stuff, but Skeletons holds a special place in my heart, love that album! I hope they can do something special since the hard rock seen is what it is.

He's too busy being my number one fan, following me around to every thread I post on, and posting a comment about my comment afterwards. That takes a lot of work, and I don't know about you, but after a long day of being a flaming troll, I don't have the energy to click a link and type in a username. Too much work. Instead of forming my own opinion, I'd rather trash everyone else's because I'm bored and lonely and I try to make friends the only way I know how: being an anonymous d***head on the interweb like a goddamned 14 year old.
