Led Zeppelin Enters The Studio

Drummer Jason Bonham has confirmed that he is working on new material with original Led Zeppelin members Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones, although lead singer Robert Plant has not been working with the band.
Bonham states: "At the moment, all I know is I have the great pleasure to go and jam with the two guys and start work on some material,” he said.
“When I get there [in the studio] I never ask any questions. If I get a phone call to go and play, I enjoy every moment of it.
“Whatever it ends up as, to ever get a chance to jam with two people like that, it is a phenomenal thing for me. It’s my life. It’s what I’ve dreamed about doing.
“Lots of politics [would need to] get ironed out [before an album could be made].”

I think though it would be cool to see them record another album,I just dont see Robert Plant pulling off a full tour in support of it due to the fact of the recent shows they did play and him not being able to hit some of the notes he could before and also I applaud Branded on his comment,I mean really why the hell is Robert Plant doing stuff with Allison Krauss?

I agree that the new Led Zeppelin may never be the same as old Led Zeppelin. Sure enough, fans may be disappointed in the new stuff, but some may like it as well. Heck, solo material by Page and Plant could still be Zeppelin as well. Led Zeppelin with either a new singer or drummer will just be Led Zeppelin - just a new incarnation.

Ive seen the entire 02 show on DVD.... Plants voice sounded amazing that night... yeah maybe he lacks a little of the high end.... but he is still Robert f^cking Plant.... and he is still the only singer for Led Zeppelin....!!
The tour with Allison Krause ends this fall... Im sure there will be something HUGE planned for 09...!! Hell, he hinted at that in the first interviews after the reunion show... that he wanted to do the tour with Krause first before anything else.... well...what else is there...?
A Zeppelin album and tour that will make them millions and millions....
I only hope I can afford the astronimical amounts of money that they will be charging for tickets..!!

I really actually was dreading this day...
I don't want a new Led Zepp album. TOG's post 17 said it for me really. All I want s to sit back and enjoy the old classic tunes of Zeppelin in their prime. Nostalgia almost, but not quite. I just don't see this ending anywhere good.
i wait with raised eyebrow and bated breath, in the hopes that this will be just as good as their best.

This band left with a great legacy when they decided to call it quits, if one dies or leaves the band the band is done. Why take a chance with possibly of a decayed legacy playing at 60 yrs old and sh*t . Sure, its a huge money maker for them, but it's obvious they don't need the $$$ since they've already turned down $200 million each to tour (plant turned it down). Myself personal opinion, thought that the 1 comeback show they did was enough. This band has nothing left to prove to people, period.
