Amorphis Finish Instrumental Parts
Finland's Amorphis have finished recording all instrumental parts for their upcoming album at Helsinki's Finnvox studios. 15 songs were reportedly tracked during the sessions, with 10 tentatively scheduled to appear on the as-yet-untitled CD, which is set to surface in the spring.
Amorphis frontman Pasi Koskinen will shortly begin tracking vocals for the album at Seawolf studio in Suomenlinna, just outside Helsinki. The vocal parts will be produced by Seawolf owner Hannu Leiden (ex-singer of Havana Blacks), who has previously worked with Hanoi Rocks, among others.
The sextet, who are currently unsigned following a lengthy stint with Relapse Records, will perform the following dates during the next couple of weeks:
Dec. 13 - St. Petersburg, RUS @ Youth Place
Dec. 14 – Moscow, RUS @ DK
Dec. 20 – Tampere, FIN @ Pakkahuone
