Chimaira is currently writing new material for their follow up to "Resurrection." The bands has also posted an unreleased song entitled "Kingdom of Heartache" from the "Resurrection" recording sessions, which you can check out on their Facebook page.

The band reportedly has four songs that are "near musical completion" and they are looking to enter the studio around October with Jason Suecof.

The band also revealed that they have a new DVD planned for next year.

Sweet i can't wait to hear for these guys again and hopefully see them on the road soon. They were pretty sick at SOTU.

im looking forward to this album. to me "impossibility of reason" is probably their best record to date, but that's not to say that their other 3 albums and their ep weren't awesome too.

Musically, I think that Resurrection was the best then Chimaira. But, Impossiblity of Reason has the most songs that really resonate with me. It was probably the best produced, in my opinion, as well. I liked almost all of the songs right off the bat. Ressurection is still growing on me but I'm not disappointed with it at all. Worthless is one of the my favorite songs off the record.

It's amazing how much they've grown since This Present Darkness. I've seen Chimaira 4 times and been satisfied every time.
