It doesn't surprise me really. They weren't that bad and had a good following. The thing is that I can't think of many (any) radio-friendly bands in this genre that split to create new projects and have any success. They often end up getting back together because the name recognition and reunion status generates some interest and it's easy to get radio play once again. Flaw immediately comes to mind, but I know there have been others. It won't be long for SOAD.
