New Jersey melodic metallers, Skies Devoured, have issued the following update on their MySpace page:

"What's new in the world of Skies Devoured? Well, for one, we're taking a break."

"Skies Devoured is officially on hold at the moment in order to pursue other projects. Our future is vague. We hope to reunite and begin writing again, as well as play shows. Thanks to everyone who came out to a show, listened to/downloaded our music, supported, sang along, headbanged, hung out, partied, got wasted, chilled, and generally just acknowledged our presence. We cherish all the fun we've had with our friends and family--you guys!"

"Daniels continues to write music. He is also training hard to succeed in the world of mixed martial arts (Brazilian Ju-Jitsu, kickboxing, etc.)."

"Gerardo is still writing music."

"Michael is currently working on material for a new project. He plays bass in Grimus, as well."

"Gustavo continues to write music and still rips it up in Carnal."

"JP is working on material for his new project as well as playing out with prog-power outlet Suspyre."

What's Next?
