The Binary Code Signs to Uprising Records

Midgets With Machetes/Uprising Records is proud to announce the signing of New Jersey Progressive Metal band the Binary Code. The label plans to release their debut album in the spring of 2009.

In addition to the signing The Binary Code has also been picked up for exclusive representation by the Elite Touring Group and will hit the road for short run with their new label mates The Cast Pattern in the fall.

A new song, entitled "The Story," has been posted on their MySpace page.

The Binary Code issued the following statement about the signing:

"We're more than excited to have this great opportunity to proliferate our music once and for all."

"After sorting through an abbreviated listing of labels we had come into contact with this year, we decided to make what we feel is one of the best decisions we could make. Becoming a part of the Midgets with Machetes/Uprising Records family is a big step for us. We look forward to making the best of our future."
