^Whats wrong with playing The House of Blues? Metal and rock have roots in blues and a ton of bands play The House of Blues. Immortal did awhile back.

Well, I live in the midwest where metal bands can't get a show better than some dive bar, and it strikes me as a little bit silly that it's the house of blues, yet they let this crapola in there. And as far as Iced Earth, they're the LAST band that should be playing at a house of blues. I figure I'll see Rotting Christ there next. I just think it's hilarious when black metla bands and crap like that play there. I know a ton of bands play there, and really who wouoldn't? Everyone's a whore nowadays when it comes to touring.

I find it strange that someone could walk into a House of Blues and see Iced Earth's ridiculous has-been asses up there belting out satan satan.

Fair enough I suppose CTJJ. I personally dont care what venue a band plays. If I like them enough to go see them live then seeing them live is what matters.

i dont care where a band plays. if they show up and put on a good show, that's all i care about. iced earth is one of the many bands i've wanted to see live but haven't had the chance. hope they make a midwest run.

No, I understand that it doesn't matter where you play at, I mean, I saw Kenny Wayne Shephed play at a farmer's market before. Too bad we don't have a House of Blues where I live, so he could play there where he belongs, eh?

It's the possibility that there's two 60-70 year old tourists walking by a House of Blues thinking, "Oooh, Eunice, look! Blues! I love the blues!" Then they walk in and it's all satan satan and people with face makeup on and some eardrum-fxcking metal going on. They'd sh** all down the back of their Amigo Scooters.

yeah, i always did wonder why the house of blues got so many non-blues acts, specifically metal...just trying to please everyone i guess.

The promoters just steer the band to where the money's at.

If Iced Earth wears corpse paint and is black-metal, Fall out Boy is the next Pantera.

And Iced Earth is HUGE. They have fans of all age groups, so who cares?
