Warner Music Group Pulls Full Songs From Last.fm
Warner Music Group has pulled all full tracks from their artists from Last.fm. The move came after Last.fm’s parent company, CBS, was unwilling to give WMG a percentage of the sites advertising revenue. Thirty second clips of WMG artists are still available on Last.fm.

Deathbringer, I couldn't agree with you more. I've been using Last.Fm more and more recently, and the potential is there. It definitely hasn't been embraced. That said, music labels have had their head up their a$$ for a long time. I think labels are frantic about what social media has the ability to do by completely bypassing a label altogether. As sites like Last.Fm become more prominent and more understood by bands, all musical acts will need is a manager to help them get gigs. That isn't going to happen right away, but it will eventually happen.
