Ankla was truly a great metal. I've seen them play and boy they were heavy. the 2 drummers including the bongo drums just make the drumming insane. Exactly what I wanted to hear that summer of 2007 at sound advice ampitheatre in florida. I feel gifted that I had the chance to experience the sound that original band put out. I still am listening to this album and every time I just love the sound that the band makes. From what I hear the new vocalist is going to be from the classic metal band Puya and their new album sounds even better. I have not heard it yet and I'm curious to know if it is going to sound more like Puya or ankla or both? Maybe imbayra will sound more like the original ankla with Ikaro. I remember that the vocals are what really stood out in ankla. maybe ankla wants to be around longer and take the main stage by storm at ozzfest 2009 if its not in one spot. lets make this short, if people liked ankla for their second stage underground sound and are all in favor of it they will buy the Imbyra. all in favor of mainstream metal and ankla having clean cut vocals will buy the new ankla. I am eager to see if this will help the band, but what If ankla fans really likedit for the vocals, they would all turn into Imbyra fans. This is going to be a long interesting battle between bands.
