ROB ZOMBIE has issued the following update:

"Well, we have for the first time ever written more songs than we need for an album. Everything isn't 100% finished, but everything is moving along great. No release date yet."

Rob Zombie's new movie, The Haunted World Of El Superbeasto, is expecting a release sometime this year.

Glad to see that he hasn't abandoned his music career. I just hope he doesn't stray too far from the Hellbilly Deluxe/Sinister Urge sound. Educated Horses was pretty much at the limit of toleration. Anything beyond that will be bad.

huge zombie fan and i couldnt agree more with shoe police ...had some vintage sounds to it but for the most part songs like scorpion sleeps and even foxy foxy were kinda popish ?

I agree with the "limit of toleration" assessment. I liked the catchy/poppy songs on the album, but I wouldn't want too much of it.
