CHILDREN OF BODOM bassist Henkka T. Blacksmith has posted this message from Gigantour 2008:

"Yo yo yo,

"We are here in Arizona! It rains and it is like 60 degrees! Sweet.

"Tomorrow flying home, and of course it sounds sleazy, but it is kind a sad, such funny and good people on this tour. And the whole package has pulled many people each night, which is amazing.

"The other night in San Diego was bad for us though. During 'In Your Face' our light console went down. So we played in almost complete darkness. Haha, that was weird, and difficult of course. And the rest of the show we got lights, but just basic bright ones and nothing moving pretty much. It felt like playing in Youth Club's Christmas party. But luckily the crowd didn't seem to care. We were just laughing and had good times.

Last days some of us caught Bronchitis, again, so it's rough now! But as said, tonight is the last night!"

I was at the san jose stop. f***in amazing, but megadeths mix was all messed up. No vocals and the guitar was over distorted.

I saw them in Detroit and it was just a bad a$$ concert all together. Exception of Job for a cowboy....it was 30 minutes of the same sh**ty song basically.

dude Dontbombme, the same sh*t happened at our show in Salem, OR. Bodom was amazing, but you could hardly hear dave's vocals from megadeth. The rest of the band sounded great though, so is wasn't all bad.

Detmetal20, I was at that show, too. Me and my friend were in row HH, center right, and I was so bombed when JFAC came on, I thought I was going to sh** myself laughing. I mean, I've laughed at bad bands before, but these guys were an altogether new experience. It was like watching someone puke. I didn't really want to keep watching, but a morbid fixation kept me in my seat. I mean, really, they were so bad. The lyrics sounded all the same "oogy-googy" crap, and it sounded like every member in the band had their rigs turned up to 11 with distortion all the way up, playing as fast as they could. It was total nonsense. It hurts me to think that Dave Mustaine hand picks the Gigantour bands himself. I have never deleted a band's entire discography from my iPod so fast. Everything else was super-t1ts, tho. Especially CoB and Deth.

Hell yeah man I was Center Right also but in Row R, i was so bored with them I went and "moshed" on the hill with the 12 year olds. I think COB set was not long enough, i saw them at harpos(thats a great metal place in detroit for those who dont know) a year ago and that was a bad a$$ show.

Saw this show in Calgary AB. May 14/08.
COB rocked it. True f***in rockstars!
In Flames had the best sound mix.
Couldn't hear Dave's vocals... everything mixed up way too loud on the house PA.
Got behind the PA at the side of the stage and the sound was great... straight out of the monitors.
Didn't see the first 2 bands... got kinda sidetracked in the lounge.
