Prosthetic Records has announce the release of the vinyl edition of LAMB OF GOD’s debut album, "New American Gospel," featuring all 10 songs remastered along with “Nippon,” a bonus track previously only available on Japanese pressings of the record, and three early demo tracks across a double LP gatefold with altered artwork and exclusive poster. The LP edition is limited to 1,000 copies worldwide and is now available online.

Since the 2000 release of "New American Gospel," LAMB OF GOD has gone on to release "As The Palaces Burn" and the "Terror And Hubris" before signing with Epic Records for the band’s next three albums, "Ashes Of The Wake," "Killadelphia," and "Sacrament," as well as the forthcoming DVD release "Walk With Me In Hell," as well as several appearances on Ozzfest and hugely successful headlining tours both Stateside and in Europe.

Yeah, waste that vinyl! While we're at it, why don't they re-release Dave Matthews Band's Crash on vinyl, and Metallica's ReLoad on vinyl, and f***ing ICP'S Riddlebox on vinyl? I swear to god, I'm tearing every local record store apart trying to find a copy of At The Gates "Terminal Spirit Disease" on vinyl, and this is the shxt I have to file through. Might as well release f***ing Hatebreed on vinyl next. Then I can shoot myself in the face and die screaming and in pain.

I agree Crawford, I dig LoG but being put in vinyl should be reserved for music that has been a proven classic over at least 2 decades. Examples being Slayer, Black Sabbath, etc. \m/

Well, IT IS the record company doing this. LoG is the hottest sh** out there right now in Metal, so I guess the company figured they could make a little extra out of this. Just be thankful they haven't released a "greatest hits" album yet...
