METALLICA have confirmed a live date in France on August 14th in Arras at Grand d'Arras. Tickets for this general admission show go on sale on Tuesday, March 18 at 10am local time. MetClub presale begins on Friday, March 14 at 2am PST.

hey, im a metallica nd megadeth fan. if i had to pick b/t the two, however, i would have to go with megaddeth. for all those who say they suck, listen( and i mean really listen) to their catalog. megadeth has been about 80 percent more speed/thrash faithful than metallica has been. mustaine is an a$$hole , but has made great efforts in recreating thrash metal. not much can be said about metallica's latter contributions. albums like killing is busniess and rust in peace are great and should be given much respect. yes dave mustaine is an a$$hole, but he is in no way a failed musician.

p.s. if you see anyone "hardcore dancing" bea t teh f*** out of them. mosh on their faces.

I already know, I've seen/met the guy outside of a concert setting(Mustaine), and he is an egotistical jerk, bigtime a$$hole. Makes good music though imo. Still, early Metalliica was far superior. Current Metallica sucks so hard however that Megadeth ends up better in the long run anyway. At least for me.

I refuse to make fun of my favorite band (for gods sake Ride the Lightning was my first metal cd), no matter what kind of sh** they are doing now, so I'll call Lars a douche for saying on Some Kind of Monster that guitar solos are basically not cool anymore. I haven't listened to Garage Inc. (entirely) but way to make the classic Last Caress by the Misfits sound like sh**. They played it live before and sounded good but here it sounds god aweful.
