South German metallers DEADLOCK have extended their contract with Lifeforce Records. Says the label, "after their successful albums 'Earth.Revolt' (2005), 'Wolves' (2007) and the newest (yet-untitled) release to hit the stores in November 2008, their will be three more albums which will combine the typical DEADLOCK essences, a high standard mixture of extreme technical and melodic metal, the dual vocals by the band's singers Joe and Sabine and a good dose of gothic darkness."

Commented DEADLOCK drummer Tobias Graf: "It's a big pleasure for us to continue our collaboration with Lifeforce. They're doing an excellent job for DEADLOCK, so it's been a pretty easy decision to extend our existing deal with them. Furthermore we're the only good band on their label roster and we couldn't take the responsibility to leave them alone with all those other poorly acts."

Lifeforce Records CEO Stefan Luedicke stated: "I'm very happy that we have secured three more albums with DEADLOCK, one of the most promising bands around and not to forget one of my personal favorites on Lifeforce, even the band members have the worst haircuts ever. I'm really looking for the great things to come in the future and we at Lifeforce will be part of. You can be sure DEADLOCK is a band you'll hear and see from a lot in the coming months and years!"
