Bury Your Dead Member Robbed and Beaten

According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, a member of the Boston hardcore/metal band BURY YOUR DEAD was was robbed in Milwaukee early today after performing at the Rave with HELLYEAH, MACHINE HEAD and NONPOINT.

The 23-year-old member of the band (said to be one of the guitarists) was sitting in a car at 12:30 a.m. when he was held up by five men, two with guns, police said. The bandmember, who was not identified, handed over a bag of jewelry, and the robbers fled from the lot, near N. 24th St. and W. Wisconsin Ave.

The musician gave chase and caught up with the robbers but was kicked by them, suffering a cut to the head, police said.

No one was arrested and police did not release a detailed description of the suspects.

Surprised this band is even around anymore after that South Carolina incident when they put a 15 year old in the hospital using a tire iron. KARMA's a b****

I use to respect Bury Your Dead a few years ago. But after the SC incident, Bury Your Dead is dead to me.

I think that any person holding a bag of jewlry in that manner in a parking lot with no body guards is asking for a robbery. I think that money can make people stupid because it seems the more they have the dumber they get in alot of cases.... sh**allica is a prime example of that.

Wow never heard of the SC incident, if that's true then I've got no sympathy for him. Even so, it ain't cool getting jacked and beaten. But I have to ask the same question as everyone else and ask why he had a bag of jewellery lol.

Pocket's are a wonderful invention... you put things in them and no one can see what's inside of it. Utilizeing this invention may have prevented the attack. *LOL*

I was going to ask why he was sitting alone with a bag of jewelry when I noticed that he's from Boston - the town where flashing advertisements for Aqua Teen Hunger Force are clearly terrorist bombs.

A bag of "jewelry". I'm guessing it was actually a bag of something else, but he didn't want to tell the police what it really was.

I wonder if this actually took place at the Rave. I was there and the show got out at that time. I can't imagine someone trying that with all the people that were there. Place was packed to the max. Kick A$$ show.

I know the area, my band has played there many times, and go there to support others. The Rave itself has good security inside, but the surrounding neighborhood is Marquette University a couple blocks away, and ghetto on the other 3 sides. It's not uncommon to be approached by dirtbags asking for fitty cent. The area sucks. I was at that show also. Next time I go down there, I'm bringing a gun to guard my bag of jewels.

Hell ya! Karma is a b****. This is the same band who encouraged fans, as well as other bands to throw eggs at Iron Maiden during Ozzfest, if I am not mistaken.
Fuk em - Karma is real, and things always come around for the worst.

WHAT!? Goodness this band is not looking any better as this thread develops! I am thinking that this maybe another thing in Karma's plan to rip these guy's a new arse hole! Usually when a band has been decent people they get support.... theses guy's are getting no support or sympathy! *LMAO*
