Saxon Announce St. George's Day Contest
SAXON vocalist Biff Byford has posted this message on the band's official website:
"Hi all you lot,
Hope you all had a good year. Just like to explain the idea behind the set list concept. It should be SAXON songs with an English theme or connection, not British! There will be a prize for the most interesting set, 15 songs, you can explain the connection, if its not obvious give a short reason .e.g 'Battle Cry'... it's about the Battle of Culloden between the Scotts and English. The prize will be an exclusive guitar from DEAN with St. Georges cross art work, two tickets for a 2008 SAXON show, two t-shirts and a chance to visit the band at the studio or back stage. The contest is only through Metal Hammer UK so get thinking. Write your list to: saxon[at]futurenet.co.uk.
Live to rock!"
