Kill Hannah Sign With Roadrunner Records

The UK branch of Roadrunner Records has announced the signing of Chicago alternative rockers KILL HANNAH.

Described as the bridge between THE KILLERS, THE CURE, FALL OUT BOY and MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE, KILL HANNAH's sound is said to be at once familiar and refreshingly original, showing undeniable growth by taking chances in a world where most art is being played safe.

Despite having no TV or radio play in the UK yet, the band have already headlined and sold out up to 1,000-capacity venues on their recent tours here. You might also have caught them last year at the Give It A Name festival, or more recently as main support for the sold-out UK tour with Finnish sensation HIM.

KILL HANNAH will return to the UK as main support to AIDEN on the following dates:

28 - Portsmouth Pyramid Centre
Mar. 29 - Cardiff Solus
Mar. 30 - Bristol Academy
Mar. 31 - Dublin Spirit 57
Apr. 01 - Glasgow Garage
Apr. 02 - Manchester Academy 2
Apr. 03 - Oxford Academy
Apr. 04 - Norwich UEA
Apr. 05 - Nottingham Rock City
Apr. 07 - Birmingham Academy 2
Apr. 08 - Leeds Cockpit
Apr. 09 - London Astoria
Apr. 10 - Brighton Concorde 2

If they sound like that thrash then how are they going go be "refreshingly original?"

god sake get a grip yeah?
kill hannah sound nothing like MYCHEM, what a sh**tyy band the compare them with, seriously, if you've ever attended a live show of theirs you will understand how amazing they are, how dedicated they are to the music they make, and how genuinely nice they are, especially as they turn up to talk with fans, rather than blow the fans off...
kill hannah are one of my favourite bands, yet my music taste is so diverse, i like a range of music, and i think your all being a bit pathetic right now...
just to put something straight, i hate FOB, PANIC! and all that sh**
so stop being so goddamn tight-arsed, and get an open mind yeah?
I'm gonna be backing these guys all the way, and so will everyone else who respects and appreciates them as much as me

to Hannah-
Open minds are not required to tell that a band sucks and doesn't belong on a (supposed to be) metal label. Now, if I were to mention that the singer in this band is actually a guy (had to see a picture of this queer to tell) that wears tight girl pants and make-up like a raging f@ggot, then that MIGHT mean I have a closed mind.
Now, for anyone else that frequents this forum, help me figure something out.
1. Why is it that when ever a sh*tty band is mentioned, and we subsequent bash the living hell out of them, one or two of their whinny little b*tch fans has to start complaining about how unfair and closed minded we are?
2. Do these little b*tch fans not realize what kind of forum this is, much less what kind of web site this is?

haha, you guys make me laugh
i'm a whiny little b**** fan now?
look at the rest of the 'whiny little b****' posts
and take a brain check, and maybe then you can tell me i'm the whiny one, when in fact, so are you guys...
and regardless of what kind of forum this is?
who cares about that
its the principle that the news that has so happened to be posted on 'your' forum, has something to do with me, in the sense i happen to be a fan of the band, so before you slate someone for stating their views, perhaps you should take into the matter that their is a thing called freedom of speech, or are your closed minds to puzzled to process that?

Oh no, we know about freedom of speech and we express it so well here.

We just happen to be metal elitists and question how or why somethings are news on this site.
