Slash To Jam With Anvil At Sundance Festival

As previously reported, ANVIL! The Story Of Anvil is the name of the documentary on Anvil directed by Sacha Gervasi, who wrote the Steven Spielberg movie, The Terminal. It will premier at the Sundance Film Festival which runs January 17-27. Sacha is an old friend of the band's that used to do some roadie work for them back in the 1980's.

Anvil will be performing at a club in Park City, Utah while at the Sundance. They will be performing on the 19th, 20th or 21st. Slash (VELVET REVOLVER/ ex-GUNS N' ROSES) will be jamming with them at this show.

ANTHRAX guitarist Scott Ian will be appearing at various screenings of the movie during the Sundance Film Festival. Scott appears in the film. Scott might play with Anvil onstage for their song after the volunteers show.

Thursday, January 17 - volunteers show (Anvil will be performing 'Metal On Metal' after the show)
Friday, January 18, 5:30pm - Library Center Theatre, Park City
Saturday, January 19, 9:00pm - Tower Theatre, SLC
Sunday, January 20, Noon - Egyptian Theatre, Park City
Saturday January 26, Midnight - Egyptian Theatre, Park City
Monday, January 21, 11:00am - Yarrow, Park City (press screening)
