Benedictum Album Pushed Back

San Diego, California-based metallers BENEDICTUM have pushed back the European release date of their sophomore album, "Seasons of Tragedy", to January 25 from the previously announced January 11 (via Locomotive Records). Due on March 4 in the U.S., the follow-up to 2006's "Uncreation" will contain 10 original songs plus a cover version of the ACCEPT classic "Balls to the Wall". The digipack edition will also include a cover of RAINBOW's "Catch the Rainbow". Guest musicians on the CD include George Lynch (ex-DOKKEN), Manni Schmidt (ex-RAGE, GRAVE DIGGER), Jeff Pilson (ex-DOKKEN, FOREIGNER) and Craig Goldy (DIO).

Starting on December 1, the band will offer insight into the pre-production process of the new record and the private lives of the musicians that make up BENEDICTUM. Every single day until Christmas, the site will present exclusive pictures, videoclips and voice messages related to Veronica and her bandmates (plus some additional exclusive footage and messages from Craig Coldy and Jeff Pilson, as well as pictures of George Lynch).

"Uncreation" was produced by Jeff Pilson and features guest appearances by Craig Goldy on the nine-minute epic "Valkyrie Rising" and bass legend Jimmy Bain (DIO, RAINBOW, WORLD WAR III) on the band's cover of the BLACK SABBATH classic "The Mob Rules".
