No but it had a better roster though that's no fault of THQ. Frankly I wanted to see the Highlanders on the game. The story mode was awful, being unable to play as certain wrestlers in story mode was also a kick in the balls, GM mode sucked but I enjoyed it on 06 and 07. All in all, 08 was a big disapointment. There was really no need to change the controls again, it just makes first matches when you play it that much more pointlessly confusing. At least next year Y2J will be on the game and TNA will have their own game (which had better bloody feature Raven!).

Yeah true. I think it's because he's still recovering from a thorax infection or something. Hopefully he'll get a more prominent role in the company like he had before. I didn't see the last TNA pay per view but I know Raven filled in for Rhino. Did Abyss slam Raven on the tacks at the end? I heard something like that.

Yeah they were tag teaming. I think both company's have some good things going for them (though I think TNA has the upper hand creatively and in other ways, as much as it pains me to say that beiong a loyal WWF/E fan all my life) but I wouldn't pay the money for the pay per views either. £15 for Armageddon over here and I heard it was like $40 in the States. Not worth it at all.
I agree, Raven was best in ECW. Unfortunately, ECW came at the right time for the Raven character has he was like a depressed grunger and the 90s will be remembered for grunge so it kinda goes, if he was to keep that character forever, he'd become a dated staple of a time gone by, kinda like how Hulk Hogan just radiates 1980s. I think TNA did some interesting things with Raven but they got bored after a while which is a shame because he's a great grappler and a great performer.

I agree, but TNA hasn't been as good as of late as they used to be. Right now they need a better writing team and fire some of the midcarders that have been b****ing about TV time. As for Raven they need to put him in a good feud and put the god damn microphone in his hand and there ya go.

^agreed I just hate Vince Russo in general as i dont think he has writin very well stuff in general (never watched WCW so i dont know bout that) but he is doin a hell of a lot better then wat WWE is doin with Hornswaggle and McMahon etc.
when was the last time Raven was even on Impact? they had a good thing goin, the only reason the serotonin angle failed was because the writers hated it

Russo's stuff in WCW was awful. He came in trying to get everyone to believe he was this guy that could write nothing but pure, ratings winning gold and failed miserably. I don't like Russo and Ferrera, never will. He's not a bad writer at all in fact he's possibly one of the best but he has done some stupid things with his storylines and was never missed when he left WWF.
Raven hasn't been on Impact in months as far as I know. Damn shame as he's so good on the mic aswell as in the ring. Unfortunately the writers have this ability to take away things that are liked by wrestling fans but may not have a huge money making market to it.
As far as midcarders go, both companies need to promote their midcarders more. TNA probably does a better job of this but still doesn't give it's midcarders as much credit as it should. The TNA title scene is completely dominated by Kurt Angle at the moment. Angle is no doubt a phenomenal athlete and he's great on the mic, something you don't find very often. But he really needs to let someone else run with the gold for a bit now and he can be used to elevate a midcarder.
