Nile To Film "Papyrus" Video Tomorrow

South Carolina's NILE will shoot a video for the song "Papyrus Containing The Spell To Preserve Its Possessor From Attacks From He Who Is In The Water" tomorrow (Sunday, November 18). The clip, which is rumored to feature live Nile crocodiles (Crocodylus niloticus), will be directed by Juan "Punchy" Gonzalez (producer for such acts as MORBID ANGEL and TERRORIZER).

On August 21, 2007, when NILE played an Ozzfest one-off show at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill in New York City, guitarists/vocalists Karl Sanders and Dallas Toler-Wade were invited to stop by Metal Kult's Manhattan headquarters for an in-depth question-and-answer session about their new album, "Ithyphallic". The two technical death metal shredders accepted, and, axes in hand, showed up ready and willing to talk about their exotic gear, Egyptian themes, the benefits of scalloped frets and a fretless guitar, and why they believe NILE's music is more important than their image. View the video here. Karl Sanders also gives an in-depth description of his guitar technique in the new, January issue of Guitar World and is included on the Guitar World DVD with a "Betcha Can’t Play This" feature.

NILE will launch its European tour in Scandinavia on November 21.
