Commented DIR EN GREY's Kaoru: "Mid-tour, during a sound check in Copenhagen, we took some time to play this new song on stage repeatedly, making minor changes as we went. This continued throughout the rest of the tour. The whole process actually benefited us a lot. I feel that the band’s unique mood and temperature is actually captured in between the sounds."
Shinya: "Thanks to all the time we spent working on that song, we were able to completely understand the character of this song. We now perform this song at every show on the current tour, but I still remember that I was able to get into the song smoothly even when we played it the first night."
Die: "I have to say that the song has gone through a drastic change from the original demo, in fact it sounds so different now I can barely remember what it used to sound like! As a result I believe that this song actually breathed a new sense into the band. In fact, this is the next and first step towards our new album."
Toshiya: "I agree with that. I am incredibly thrilled with the end result. The song has both depth and width to it. It took us a long time to come to this point, but this single is the result of working relentlessly without giving up."
"Dozing Green" was released in the UK on October 29, and will be supported by the following performances in the UK:
Nov. 12 - Oxford Academy
Nov. 14 - Sheffield Corporation

Man, some of you people need to grow up. try looking at more than one song. This band are amazing. Their live perfomances are breath taking. Every album is filled with so many incredible songs its almost impossible to choose a favourite album let alone song.
Dozing Green is a great new song, showing the ever changing journey of the band as their popularity increases worldwide. I feel priveliged to have seen it live. And even more to see them doing what they do best which is overcoming language barriers through their incredible songs. I have seen them six times this year and every gig was different, playing a different set lists and a whole different feel, so you feel each concert you attend is special and unique to you, and no-one else will get the exact same thing again.
Dir en grey deserve all of the amazing press they receive and more.
I'm off to get ready for the Sheffield UK gig. Your loss if you're not there.

This greatest hits album looks really looks like an awesome arrangement. For you who dis this band should be a little more open minded. Yes their music is going to sound diffrent, they are from a completly diffrent background, but its metal at heart and has some real dynamics to it. Also you should do your best to get past the non-english lyrics and read up on what it is saying. Their writer is amazing, amazingly poetic songs. Im glad The Final made it on here. Awesome song.
