Onheil Returns With 1998-2005 Videoclip, Free Online Single and 3 Guitarists

The Dutch Blackened Metal band Onheil proudly presents their self-produced online videoclip "As hope dies". This video looks back at the first years of the band. This song is also available as a free mp3-download on MySpace. These two releases mark the return of Onheil with a new line-up, now containing 3 guitarists, that was formed earlier this year.

Onheil is currently preparing themselves for their first full-length album to be recorded in 2008 and doing some live shows, of which one of them will be with Mayhem from Norway.

Back to the video, the thread of the video is a show Onheil performed this year, together with Polish Death Metal legends Vader. This could be seen as the 'present time'-part of the clip.

The black & white-part is about the 1998 - 2005 period, the so-called 'old school days' of Onheil. It shows all kinds of footage leading from the black metal roots of the Onheil-members in the 90's and earlier musical projects to almost all live-performances and backstage footage that has never in any form been released before.

Also added is footage of some news events, showing what Onheil has been partly been inspired by in the era mentioned before.
