SOULFLY guitarist Marc Rizzo has dropped off the "Metal Crusade" tour with PRIMER 55 and LOVE SAID NO. No further details are currently available.

SOULFLY members Max Cavalera (guitar/vocals), Joe Nunez (drums), Marc Rizzo (guitar), and Bobby Burns (bass) entered the studio last month to begin recording the band's sixth studio album. The CD will be recorded in Bobby and Tim Lau's studio in Florida — the Porch Studio — and will be produced by Max. An early 2008 release via Roadrunner Records is expected.

SOULFLY spent time at a Los Angeles studio in March with producer Logan Mader (ex-MACHINE HEAD, SOULFLY) recording a cover of the MARILYN MANSON song "Beautiful People" for the recently released Kerrang! magazine compilation "Higher Voltage".

SOULFLY's latest album, "Dark Ages", was produced by Max Cavalera and was mixed by Terry Date, who has previously worked with PANTERA and DEFTONES, among others.
