According to the Peruvian news agency Andina, legendary death metallers CANIBAL CORPSE have asked their fans to donate food and other supplies during the band's concert in Lima, Peru to aid the victims of the magnitude-8 earthquake which shook the southern coast of Peru, killing over 500 people and injuring 1500.
CANIBAL CORPSE's Lima show is taking place today (Saturday, August 25) at Discoteca Suburvia.
To celebrate Metal Blade's 25th anniversary, the label reissued CANNIBAL CORPSE's 1996 fifth studio album — the first to feature current vocalist George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher — "Vile", with an additional four-track DVD filmed at San Francisco's Berkeley Square on February 3, 1997. The CD features a 12-page booklet and completely revised artwork.
