Eyehategod Cancel Shows
New Orleans sludge-meisters EYEHATEGOD have cancelled their previously announced shows in Lafayette, LA; Austin, TX; Ft. Worth, TX; and Houston, TX. According to guitarist Jimmy Bower (who also plays drums in DOWN), the dates were called off due to the upcoming release of the new DOWN album, "III – Over the Under". EYEHATEGOD's September 14 concert at The Bar in Metairie, LA will go ahead as scheduled.
EYEHATEGOD recently decided to make its long-out-of-print seven-inch single, "99 Miles of Bad Road", available as a free download. Originally released in 2004, this seven-inch EP features rare demo recordings of the songs "99 Miles of Bad Road", "Story of the Eye" and "Jackass in the Will of God". Cover artwork and liner notes were done by vocalist Mike Williams and the record is accompanied by a sticker, patch and a full-colored poster.
