SYSTEM OF A DOWN guitarist Daron Malakian has posted this message on the SCARS ON BROADWAY MySpace page:

"Hey everyone. I just wanted to give you all an update on what's goin' on with my new band SCARS ON BROADWAY.

I have partnered up with John Dolmayan (SYSTEM OF A DOWN) who is playing drums, and I'm on vocals and guitar, etc. Accompanied by some great musicians, we are preparing to go into the studio really soon to record our debut album. John and I are really excited about this new project and can't wait to get on stage and perform live for you guys.

Till then, keep a close eye on the SCARS ON BROADWAY MySpace page and official website for the latest news and music...and prepare to be SCARRED FOR LIFE!

System of a Down was one of the best bands to have ever created music, Metal or otherwise, but this guy's band sucks, I'm sorry. So does Serj Tankian's new solo stuff, but it's at least a little bit better.
btw: to bronson, they don't "waste their time" singing about politics. Music is a vessel to voice your opinions and thoughts about the world around you. If you want something that replaces substance with catchy tunes for peoples sole amusement, go listen to Britney Spears or 50 Cent, or, you could actually stop being so godamned closeminded and pay attention to what goes into your ears.
