Circus Diablo Drop Off Ozzfest 2007, Black Tide Dropped From Tour

Circus Diablo announced last Friday that they dropped off this years Ozzfest. A statement from front-man Billy Morrison reads:
"As I sit here in Dallas, TX, on the bus that has taken us from our home town of Los Angeles, to the middle of the South, it pains me to tell you all that we have to call it a day for now on the Ozzfest 2007. It has been a fantastic four weeks and we have had an amazing time. But two of our band, Ricky [Warwick, guitar] and Brett [Scallions, bass], have wives that are expecting babies any day now, and we just cannot continue heading east with that hanging over us. The guys need to be with their wives, and we all respect that. I hope you all understand that we have done our absolute best to get as far as we could this time around.
We will be heading back to Los Angeles tonight and we will regroup over the next few weeks and will be looking to head out again in support of our record in October. The babies will be well and truly in the world and fending for themselves by then!"
Black Tide, who were brought on to replace Circus Diablo, have already been dropped from the tour. Word is that they were too young to play on the Jagermeister-sponsored second stage.

So... Black Tide were told they were too young to play at a concert sponsored by Jagermeister, despite the fact that a considerable amount of the audience members who Jager is advertising to are underage themselves? A little consistency would be nice, douchebags.
Oh, and Jagermeister is for p***ies anyway. Yay for scotch!

Stole my thoughts Stephen... except for the jager part, I like jager now and then but I agree that it is raved about way to much. I could of swore that this tour was "free" mostly because "the majority of those who come to Ozzfest are kids who might not be able to afford the rising ticket prices" as Sharon said. They don't want to promote underage drinking but the last time I bothered buying a ticket I was 18 or 19 and snuck myself in a bottle of 151 to mix with their $7 sodas.
