"some music was meant to stay underground..."

Aeternus' new album will be entitled 'A Darker Monument'

Norway's Aeternus have set A Darker Monument as the title of their forthcoming full-length CD, which is scheduled to be recorded later in the year for an early 2003 release through Nocturnal Art Productions. Pytten (i.e. Enslaved, Mork Gryning) will man the knobs during the recording sessions, which are due to take place at Greighallen Studios.

In other news, Aeternus have cancelled their appearance at the Party San Open festival, which is scheduled to take place in Bad Berka, Germany on August 8-10. No reason was given for the group's cancellation.
