According to a posting on the CHILDREN OF BODOM fan site Scythes Of Bodom, the Finnish band played its first gig since November 2006 last Sunday (June 17) at Austria's Nova Rock festival. During the group's 70-minute set, it played all the usual classics, as well as the medley of "Mask Of Sanity" and "Deadnight Warrior". In addition, the song "Children Of Bodom" made its way back into the set.
CHILDREN OF BODOM's setlist was as follows (not in correct order):
01. Hate Me!
02. Children Of Decadence
03. Living Dead Beat
04. Bodom Beach Terror
05. Mask Of Sanity/Deadnight Warrior
06. In Your Face
07. Angels Don't Kill
08. Children Of Bodom
09. Are You Dead Yet?
10. Needled 24/7
11. Sixpounder
12. Downfall
CHILDREN OF BODOM recorded a brand new song at the end of May for the upcoming "Bam Margera Presents…Viva La Bands, Vol. 2" compilation.

Now, wait just a second. I don't think their latest album was a complete segway to imply the term 'sell outs.' Or even if their one song is for Bam's new CD. But it's COB: sh**, either way, I'll probably still buy their album because of their previous recordings, although AYDY isn't that great.
NICE tracklisting though. Children of Decadence? And Children of Bodom? Both songs in the same set? Wow. But notice there wasn't Silent Night, Bodom Night or even WarHeart. No if only COB would please its fans by playing HateBreeder. Please.
And I must quickly complement post 4. Nice allusion to Dark Tranquillity's song Focus Shift. A great song on a pretty f***ing good album.

I wonder if this will be a single on the new album. Hopefully not. COB's albums are short enough without singles released months ago. More new material, please!
