Bullet For My Valentine Recording New Album
BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE has completed the drum tracks for its new album at a Texas studio with producer Colin Richardson (MACHINE HEAD, FEAR FACTORY, NAPALM DEATH). "Padge [guitarist Michael Paget] is currently in the studio getting guitar tones for the album with Colin," the band writes on its web site. "Matt [Tuck, guitar/vocals] is away in Los Angeles in meetings for a couple days. When he gets back he will be recording all his rhythm guitar tracks."
BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE's "The Poison - Live At Brixton" DVD was released in the U.S. on December 19 via Trustkill. The disc, which was issued in Europe on Oct. 30, captures the band's sold-out show in front of over 4,000 people at London's legendary Brixton Academy on January 28, 2006 (filmed with over 15 cameras), along with over an hour of bonus material, including the band's videos so far, EPKs and documentaries edited to songs from both "The Poison" and the "Hand Of Blood" EP, plus a behind-the-scenes look at the band performing at the Download Festival and the Metal Hammer Awards in the U.K. last summer.
BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE's debut album, "The Poison", has sold 194,000 copies in the U.S. since its February 2006 release, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

I have been informed today that my winter unemployment has ended and I have been called back to work.. starting tomorrow...!! Yay for 12 hour days of brutally hard work...but the paychecks are mighty large and I can then continue to stock my toyroom with all the axes that I wish to have...!!!

Honestly, I dont listen to alot of radio or watch videos or anything...If I like a band, I buy the disc...Alot of this newer stuff doesnt appeal to me... some of its pretty good, but I really dont hear alot of new bands...I still love the music that I was listening to when I was the same age as you guys..!! that was 20 years ago....I graduated from high school in '87..!!

I'm not stuck in the 80s, I'm here in the now, Behemoth and Nile are the Now, Slayer was in the 80s, and still is here now. Metal doesn't need to adapt with the times, Metal IS the times! And Metal has been the times since the late 70s.
Emo is emotional hardcore derived from Punk (many call it Punk Rock's disowned gay son). Subgenres deriving from Emo are Screamo, Emocore, and some Metalcore, and some of the newer subgenres of music as well as some Alternative Metals frowned upon by the old-schoolers.
Bullet DOES have a reasonable amount of emo in their music, as well as A7X, and even if they didn't, their style would still suck, and is nothing in comparison to Traditional Heavy, as well as Extreme Metal.
No FocusShift, I'm not quick to label and bash, I'm just speaking the truth, and also, I'm doing it in posts that are meant to be jovial, and not for serious defenders of the sh!te like you. Chill out and take a damned breath, I'm only kidding around. And pathetic and fascist are 2 things I sure as hell am not kiddo. And I know what Metal is about, I've only been around this earth and this plain of miserable existence for about 18 years now. I may be young, but I sure as hell get Metal.
