Slayer will make its network television debut on FRIDAY, JANUARY 19 with an appearance on ABC-TV's "Jimmy Kimmel Live." While one song will be broadcast on-air, the band will perform a free, five-song mini-concert on Kimmel's Outdoor Stage located right in the heart of Hollywood, CA. Slayer's Grammy-nominated track, "Eyes of the Insane," from the band's most recent CD, "Christ Illusion" will be one of the songs the band will perform. "Jimmy Kimmel Live" airs at 12:05AM ET and PT/11:05PM CT.

The TV appearance will precede Slayer's 2007 Winter North American Tour which will kick off on January 24 in Tucson, AZ and wind up in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on February 24.

Ironically Eyes Of The Insane was one of the few songs I didn't like from Christ Illusion

I took me a while to warm up to that one myself, but I ended up liking it quite a bit.

haha i hope they play cult and skeleton christ those songs are sure to upset some of this shows viewers. i think eyes of the insane is a great catchy radio tune, it was a smart move in releasing it as it will attract some non fans to buy the rest of the album and look into the band further. my favorite song off the new one though is jihad, towords the middle of the song it just breaks down into the ungody cool groove followed by that great solo.
