All That Remains Joined By Ex-Diecast Drummer

Band Photo: All That Remains (?)
All That Remains has announced the addition of former Diecast drummer Jason Costa to their line-up. As you may recall, Costa left Diecast in November of 2005 following a disagreement regarding actor Brendan Frasier. The band comments: "Some of you may know Jason from his work with Diecast on Tearing Down Your Blue Skies. If not? Trust me, he's NASTY! So thanks to everyone who sent in a video and thanks to the guys who came and played with us!"

I guess that's how he split. Because of a dissagreement about Brendan... man what a great way to leave the band. I'm sure there were some back problems that came up and fueled the argument. Oh and he is a very accurate and great drummer! I really like Diecast and All That Remains. At least he found another band.

i never heard about this brendan frazier deal, but i do know that when diecast first came out, if you went to a show anywhere near the city of boston that they were playing, you had to pretty much wear full body armor if you didnt want to get hurt. they were one of the toughest sounding bands and had one of the craziest and violent (not that that was a good thing) fan followings ever. to hear that the drummer may have left over a dispute regarding the actor brendan frazier makes me question the sanity of he and his bandmates. c'mon guys, seriously????? oh, yeah, and as for my above comments about the band's sound; it is nothing like today. i think they might have one original member left, and i miss the old diecast.

Okay, the back problems were hypothetical saying that there may have been some kind of problems between each other that resurfaced. I'm not saying that there were but once again, hypothetical. But, all Brendan Frasier had to do with it was, I'm sure, a stupid argument. An argument over an actor, for some reason, was able to get this guy to leave the band. That shows to me that this guy is/was probably very argumentative and possibly aggressive. But I don't know, I never met him. That's my opinion.
And yeah, Diecast does only have one original member left. But I still like them.

rk, have you heard some of the newer diecast stuff?? "a wigga metal band"? you are entitled to your opinion though (even though you have no idea what you are talking about)....if you could explain to me what "a wigga metal band" is maybe i will understand better.

okay i shall help i saw this band open up for slayer a few years back and they came across to me as a shiitty hip hop version of hatebreed and then i say about a year ago i saw a video of them trying and failing miserably to play dm with still imo nu metal elements in their sound like chimiara strikes me as another example of this wretched garbage this shiit and trivium trying to be a thrash band now just doesnt work for me. Sorry there are way better bands out there listen to some Myrkskog and zyklon if you want to hear some real dm. Later.

he is a sick drummer, but he ditched a band that he'd been w/ since day one out of the f***in blue one day. for a band like all that remains to put their trust in this guy is a big gamble. like i said before though, he is an awesome drummer. check out diecast's "day of reckoning" album to hear some real sweet stuff from him.
