Guns N Roses Drop Eagles Of Death Metal After One Show

Shortly after The Eagles Of Death Metal were announced as the openers for the new Guns N' Roses tour, the band has already been given the boot. After just one show the band has been removed due to an overwhelmingly poor response from the audience. According to several fans who attended the Nov. 24th show in Cleveland, Ohio people were booing throught the band's hour-long set.
Axl Rose apparently agreed with his fans, because a few songs into GNR's set he reportedly said something to the effect of, "So how'd you like The Pigeons Of Shit Metal? Don't worry, that's the last show they're playing with us."

I guess that whole combination should have been thought out long before even having a first show...!!!!!!! And for the prick to say that during a show is assinine.!!!!!! He should be beat down for doing such a thing..!!!
Besides, wasnt Sebastian Bach opening the shows.???

I guess opening acts is all Axl can drop now. He sure as h*ll won't drop a new album. So disappointing. Isn't Eagles of Death Metal another Josh Homme project? Why didn't he just keep Kyuss together? They were much better than QoTSA and this Eagles of Death Metal stuff. I can't blame Axl for dropping them, but what I don't understand is if he has such control over the tour, how did they make it on in the first place???

well...i just want to know who the big dummy is that put that venue together...its like taking cannibal corpse and having the pixies as an opener...which goes to show that the people behind the scenes don't have a clue about the music...they just seem like they are running a "business"....too bad.

Sooner or later the world will wake up.The record label has sunk $13 million into this 15yr project.That's the only reason Axl's toureing.THEY WANT THEIR MONEY BACK !!!! Axl can't pay up with no record so he has to tour.Take this put it together with the fact that as stated previously.Slash Duff & Matt are enjoying quite a bit of success with VR.Then the fact that they are doing it without him......He would still be hideing in his Malibu home liveing in the past if this was not the case.WAITE A MINUTE HE STILL IS LIVEING IN THE PAST........
PATHETIC.The least he could have done is wait till the show was over before cutting them.But no not Axl.That sound's too much like good sense.He'd never do that for him that's like selling out.
