Sebastian Bach Comments On Guns N Roses' "Chinese Democracy"

The new Guns N' Roses album, Chinese Democracy, has received the seal of approval from former Skid Row man Sebastian Bach. And he knows a thing or two 'bout The Rock.
The long-awaited album, which must've been started back when Axl Rose looked like that, is out next month. Apparently. Bach heard the record from start to finish at Rose's mansion in Malibu.
"It's fucking epic," said Bach. "It was mind-blowing. It's a very cool album - it's badass with killer screams and killer guitar riffs, but it's got a totally modern sound.
"There's this one song called 'Sorry', that's almost like doom metal with Axl singing really clean over this grinding, slow beat that is fucking mean. I cannot get it out of my head."
The unofficial, not-yet-confirmed release date for Chinese Democracy is November 21.

Saw GnR in Greensboro on 11/2. They were awesome. They played for THREE hours. They played five new songs. They rocked. Axl's voice was strong. I love Slash, but trust me, they're not hurting for a guitarist. Basically, what they have is three badass guitarists who are all capable of playing lead, and they're switching off on rhythm. Judging by the songs I heard, they album is going to be awesome.

That would be very difficult to believe at best because we are talking about Axl.Everyone know's that Madonna,Elton John,Barbara Striesand,Michael Jackson and multiple other musical ICON's will have hot new songwriter's come in and write song's for them and then buy the right's to saide song's(this is something Axl could & would do).This gives the Illusion of the quote unquote artist being more talented than they actually are(I know Elton John.The point is in his old age he's done this too)
On what disc have you ever heard of any one song where all the duties of makeing that song were all undertaken exclusively by Axl ? The correct answer is none.That is why it took so long.EPIC........It better be(15 long years later).Hell I would not be surprised if Bas had a hand in the writeing of this record.Rumor has it Axl needed alot of help putting this record out.

After hearing that Axl cancelled his first two shows of the tour in late october to do last minute finishing touches on the album, I myself doubt the nov.21 release date, I think it won't be till december, f*** I hope I'm wrong but hey what's a few more weeks of waiting, it's already been ten years. I just can't see it being pressed that quickly, Anyhow, I'll be at the concert tonight in Toronto.....been waiting my whole life to see GnR live, they cancelled Vancouver on the UYI tour with Metalica in early 90's....the closest I've got was VR two years ago, at that time I couldn't have been happier, thinking that was the best it was ever going to get to seeing GnR live....I was wrong..this maybe the coolest day...??? or the sh**tiest let down due to cancellation...Again, I hope I'm wrong....they are in Canada...drinking permitted...good ticket sales...pyros allowed in the building...I'm in the Jungle.......

These guys actually like performing, they don't just stand there with the hair in the face and a smoke lit. You can really feel a chemistry with the band, no egos just good f***in music. Axl is loving life, you can see it in his constant smile on stage. It was the first time I've seen a band come out for a cutain call, all lined up side by side after the encore and took a few bows. Axl even telling the audience to get home safe and constant thank yous. The new songs were sung with such passion and energy. They played the blues, I.R.S,Better and Chinese Democracy. The arena was very close to a sell out, probably 14ooo or so. I was talking to a security guard before GNR hit the stage, it was great all the staff were p***ed off cause it was after 11 and Axl hadn't hit the stage yet. The security guard was talking sh** about Axl's demands and how crazy they were, I asked him what the craziest demand was, he said that he is instructed to turn anyone away that looks like Slash, no top hats or crazy curly hair. At first I thought f*** that is pretty demanding, but it makes sense, Axl doesn't want a bad mood in the building, if your there too start sh** he doesn't want you. He got on around 11:20 and played till just after 2. Almost three hours of Guns...f***in awesome. So I must say that from this point on I will no longer stick up for Axl or the bands talent. If you don't like them then f*** it, your loss. I think this group is together for awhile. Once they colaborate together, and write new music after the release of Chinese Democracy holly sh** are they gonna rock. I put Ron Thal or Richard Fortus up against Slash any day. I saw VR in concert a little while back, Night and Day compared to GnR. Axl has put together an unbelievable band. Yes the old days of Slash,Matt, Duff, Izzy and Axl were great, but time moves on and so does Axl. Axl up graded his talent and the old guys went backwards.Check them out if you get a chance, I promiss you will be saying the same thing, oh a little tip, don't go until around 10:30pm, it was perfect I missed Sabastian all together. He comes out for My Michelle with Axl anyhow, 2 and a half minutes of Sab is enough for me. GnR is back better than ever. I got my demos of the new songs and the memories of the concert, f*** it I don't really care when the album comes out, He's back and that's all that matters. Oh ya Robbin Finck was one of the highlights as well, just the way he carries himself. So talented and not a shred of ego. You could just tell he doesn't take himself serious, just about playing great music and entertaining. As far as Axl goes, whatever was weighing him down in his off stage life has obviously been delt with. He is happy to be back. That was very surprising to see him have no erogance, unlike Weilland he didn't throw his beer in the crowd or lit cigarete. He is back to stay, you can see that in his performance. With all the doubters in the world he has a lot of people to show up. Go and see them for yourself and get a non bias opinion, cause mine is as corupt as the US Government's conspiracy on 9/11. And since I lost connection with the first band (due to distance), the new band is starting from scratch, so yeah, no sh** a myspace music site is easy as breathing, but still, recording and sh** is a mess...I'm also very sure that I can handle months of tour without b****ing out over bullsh** like a booze law in Maine...Again, sober minds are needed for the next generation of Metal...
