how the hell is metallica over rated??? they made 2 or 3 of the greatest metal albums in history (ie ride the lightening, master of puppets, and kill em all). yes, they have sucked for years and that is too bad, but overrated?? i dont really know if you can say they are overrated. they might be douche bags but their body of work over their career makes them one of the most influential and defining metal acts of all time.....that said, jamey, what the f*** are you thinking. maybe ten years ago, but not anymore man.

Metallica freakin rules. Just because some people hate "Load"-"St. Anger" doesn't mean that Metallica is a crappy band. I'll admit that "Load" , "re-Load", and "St. Anger" are a little weak from the other albums they have made. But that doesn't mean they suck. Metallica can still throw down when they want. They can play heavier and harder and faster than most of the new bands that have came out. But, I just don't see Metallica and Hatebreed on the same bill. Metallica doesn't need anyone to tour with. Hatebreed needs help. Thats why they want to tour with Metallica. Because they know if they tour with Metallica, the shows would sell out. Hatebreed needs money. They are tired of not selling albums like they should. Great band, they just get overlooked I think.

Hmm I dunno. I'll admit occassionly I think Metallica are overrated but then when I listen to them I think, "sh**! I ALWAYS forget how good they really are!" I think they're a little like Maiden, when you first get into metal, you find yourself listening to Metallica, Maiden and Sabbath all the time but as time goes on and you delve deeper into metal, you forget how good these bands really are and it's cool to bring them out on occassion. Now if ever there was an UNDERrated thrash band, Onslaught would be that! Gah! New album! I can't wait! They blew me away when I saw them with Venom!
