A brand new TRIVIUM track, entitled "Anthem (We are the Fire)", has been made available for streaming at this location. The song comes off the Florida-based metallers' upcoming third album, "The Crusade", due on October 10 via Roadrunner Records. The follow-up to 2005's "Ascendancy" was recorded at Audiohammer Studios in Sanford, FL, just outside of Orlando. Once again produced by TRIVIUM and Jason Suecof, the CD is "a dazzling explosion of tight, intricate and instantly memorable songs that feature awe-inspiring musicianship from all four members of the band," according to a press release.
"The Crusade" will contain 13 songs, including "Detonation", which is available for download at this location, "And Sadness Will Sear", the initial focus track "Entrance of the Conflagration", and the nine-minute instrumental epic "The Crusade".

Trivium are AMAZING, yes okay, people have different views, but you cant exactly go round slagging off pure talent...I think this song is SO good and I cant wait until The Crusades is released and I think it will be the third example of Trivium's skill and talent...and hard work they put in to finishing it.

i can judge them when ive seen them live about 10 times....they are trying way too hard to be rock stars. they are very talented musicians but ive said it before and ill say it again, they need to tighten up their live show. also, im not trying to disrespect them or their fans w/ my post above. like i said they are supremely talented dudes and have a long future in metal, but this new stuff just sounds like they are trying to be metallica. we are talking post black album metallica here too which just doesnt do it for me. if you like it that is cool though, just an opinion... and they are on a kick a$$ tour w/ Protest the Hero, The Sword, and Cellador coming up so everybody should check that sh** out.

I Just Have To Say, Trivium Have Supreme Talent, I Dont AgreeWithThe *whoah whoahs* and *yeah yeahs*, but focusing past that point, anthem is amazing, and the clear vocals of " and now the ground we called our home, Is but a baron wasteland" on detonation are just some of the best lyrics ever, coz its all true, this world is f***ed, and soon it will be at that point, now you can either like the music or not, but im sick of people hating this band just because there friends do, coz thats why a majority of people hate em, because they r not *metal*, nobody says they are, nobody at all, maybe its all we can associate em with, infact, ive never thought about them being any genre, i love them for what they write and i love them for what they play, every single song they have done and always have, i guess you just need the ear for them really, dont you

TRIVIUM RULE. They are so underrated, its not fair on them, they are pros. the only reason people say crap about them is either coz their friends do, they judge them from one song, they think they sound too much like metallica or they are accused of being emo.
Well i will laugh at those who say that trivium are crap because in years to come they will be remembered, not just forgot about like most of todays metal. :D ( read Matt b's comment, the guy has some sense :D )
