Milwaukee-based BEATALLICA, a satirical mashup act whose hilarious schtick marries the songwriting prowess of the BEATLES to the deep-throated rock growl of METALLICA, has lined up the following dates in October:

Oct. 06 - Vnuk's Lounge - Milwaukee (Cudahy), WI
Oct. 28 - Subterranean – Chicago, IL

BEATALLICA recently parted ways with lead guitarist Krk Hammettson (real name Michael Brandenburg). A replacement guitar player has yet to be announced.

Gotta take these guys with a grain of salt. If you like stuff like The Dan Band (comedian Dan Finnerty playing all songs originally by women) or ridiculous covers by bands you wouldn't imagine would play them, you'd like Beatallica. I've seen them and the shtick is ok, I wasn't there for their musical talents.
