"Sacrament", the second Epic Records studio release from LAMB OF GOD, will be issued on August 22 individually and as a CD and DVD deluxe edition, which will include over 90 minutes of special behind-the-scenes footage of the making of "Sacrament".

This special deluxe edition of "Sacrament" chronicles the making of the album from the early stages of writing and rehearsing to the actual studio recording. Filmed during the spring of 2006, the footage captures the intensely personal aspects of the album making process as well as taking a sneak peek inside the band's private lives. The DVD contains interviews from each band member as well as director's cut versions of two videos from the upcoming release, including the first single "Redneck".

Currently on the Unholy Alliance tour with SLAYER, LAMB OF GOD will hit the road again late summer in support of "Sacrament". More details will be announced soon.

I hope the rest of the album does not sound like "REDNECK" because that song is lame compaired to past Lamb songs.

Where is the brutallity and why is the rhythm and vibe totally diffrant? They mighnt aswell change there name from lamb of god to epic records b****es! I agree with parker, I must say redneck is pretty lame, and thr video wtf? It seems like LOG have crashed into the mainstream while crashing a kids party? Looks like another sweet and friendly pop video to be played on MTV, seriously sucking epic's balls.

I've got the cd now, it is growing on me, it does have a polished production, the guitars should have been mixed loader it's not raw like the last albums, but if you crank it up it's all the same.
