Stone Sour's "Through Glass" Video Online

Stone Sour take a dig at Paris Hilton and the rest of "Hollowood," a land where all the celebrities are merely cardboard cutouts, in their video for "Through Glass". Watch the clip of the band's first single from their "Come What(ever) May" album, due to be released on August 1st, exclusively on AOL.

The video will reportedly only be online for the next four days and is available here.

There is so much symbolism in this video! Every Stone Sour video before this has been set in a dark, cold area. This one is all bright and shiny! Maybe, it means that hollywood is a shallow, happy place. Like blondes.

I love this song, and the video was cool. Here is my interpretation: They have been swallowed by the whole Hollywood scene, and are now looking through the glass, as in being behind the cameras and the TV screens from another world.. All of the different cardboard cutouts represented different stereotypes in Hollywood (the 2 black guys, the model, the Rockers) and how it is all "fake".... And the band was performing in front of a Hollywood background as well.

Eventhough the video's pretty cool, it's hard to take it too seriously, considering this video will no doubt be getting massive play on Mtv, Mtv2, Fuse, VH1, and so on and so forth. Stone Sour can't rip on the big time for very long. It appears that they're already there.

I personally think you can't make fun of famous people if you have a grammy, but that's just me. Whatever. Guess that's why he's famous and I'm not.

I think that is what the song means, that they ARE in the big times, and looking through the glass....
