Cephalic Carnage Writing New Material
Cephalic Carnage is currently writing material for their next album. The group intends to record the effort in November and December, with a tentative release planned for May 2007 via Relapse Records.
Meanwhile, Cephalic Carnage has announced a replacement for bassist Jawsh Mullen, who left the group in February. Since Mullen's departure, Nick Schendzielos (also of Denver band AinMatter) has been "filling in quite well."
As previously reported, Flatline Audio, the recording studio owned by producer Dave Otero (CEPHALIC CARNAGE, SUMMON), was robbed earlier this year. Thousands of dollars in gear was taken, as well as hard drives containing week's worth of sessions and unfinished projects.
