JUNGLE ROT, HURTLOCKER and DESOLATION have been confirmed as the support acts for DEICIDE on their fall 2006 U.S. tour. The trek, which will kick off September 20 and run through October 31, will include stops in the following cities, among others: Virginia Beach, Va.; Allentown, Pa.; Manchester, N.H.; and Cleveland, Oh.
As previously reported, DEICIDE have confirmed an all-ages CD release show commemorating 06/06/06 (June 6) and the release of their new album, "The Stench of Redemption". The concert will take place at the Iliff Park Saloon in Aurora, Colorado, near Denver. Plans also exist for DEICIDE to head over to Japan before the end of the year.
The follow-up to 2004's "Scars of the Crucifix", "The Stench of Redemption" was recorded at Morrisound in Tampa, Florida and marks the first recording with the new DEICIDE lineup following the departure of the Hoffman brothers. Joining frontman Glen Benton and drummer Steve Asheim in the new formation are guitarists Jack Owen (ex-CANNIBAL CORPSE) and Ralph Santolla (ex-ICED EARTH, DEATH).

I wanna go see Deicide on this tour but I haven't listened to Jungle Rot, Hurtlocker, or Desolation. I'm pretty sure they are all death metal bands but I wanna know if they are any good.
