i agree that they may be a bit overrated. musically, i think they're pretty cool.
the more old school 30 something metalheads seem to really dig their sound.
one question, though...why do so many people have a problem with metal bands who have
vocalists who can actually sing and harmonize instead of just scream? melody can express p***ed of brutality just as much as screaming if done correctly. personally, i'm kind of bored with vocals having to be screaming for it to be "metal"...except for the greats obviously who pioneered that sound (tom araya, max cavalera, phil, etc.). it's starting to feel somewhat outdated, and seems like a lot of new bands that come out with an actual singer most metalheads don't like no matter how heavy or skilled the music is.
i don't know, just a thought.

this band is so over-rated.....no doubt their guitarts shred, but the songs all sound exactly the same and the vocals are just not my cup of tea.......the whole set-up is just too...flamboyantly arrogant..........but protest the hero is a pretty cool band to tour w/
