Motorhead To Play With The Foo Fighters

Motörhead have just been confirmed to play a gigantic concert featuring the Foo Fighters on June 17th, 2006 at Hyde Park in London, England. No other than Dave Grohl himself asked his pal Lemmy to join in and Motörhead agreed immediately. The line up is the following:

Foo Fighters
Motörhead
Queens Of The Stone Age

Furthermore these shows are confirmed already:

Mar. 07 Los Angeles, CA - House of Blues
Mar. 09 San Diego, CA - House of Blues
Mar. 10 Anaheim, CA - House of Blues
Mar. 11 Las Vegas, CA - House of Blues

Motörhead will be playing some summer festivals in Europe between June 1st, 2006 and August 15th. A US Tour will follow September / November this year and Motörhead will start a headlining European tour after that. More news TBA.

Motörhead are currently in the studios working on their new album.

Sorry but that's my opinion. I did like them in the mid 80's when they were a satanic metal band.
I see a lot of their influence in Mystic-Circle's material.
