A 14-minute audio interview with former NIGHTWISH frontwoman Tarja Turunen has been posted online at Metal Express Radio (Windows Media). During the interview, Turunen discusses her felings about being fired from the group and her future plans.

As previously reported, Tarja's final performance with NIGHTWISH — which took place on October 21 at the Hartwall arena in Helsinki, Finland — was filmed professionally for an upcoming DVD, "End of an Era", tentatively due in late 2006.

NIGHTWISH fired Turunen via an "open letter," which was given to the singer immediately following the Helsinki show. The group are currently seeking a replacement vocalist before entering the studio in September 2006 to begin recording the follow-up to 2004's "Once", tentatively due in mid-2007.
