theressh**onthewalls........the other bands suck??? have you ever heard either trivium or devildriver?? Although, im sure you shred way sicker than the boys from trivium and are probably a much more creative song writer than Dez from devildriver you might want to check your stats cause the last good album i can remember IF releasing was Clayman and that was more than 10 years ago, but i could be wrong???? You f u c k i n retard

I have heard both Trivium and Devildriver. Gay Gay Gay Gay Gay. If I do say so myself I DO shred better than those fags from Trivium and Dez Fafara's songwriting is a joke. Always has been, always will be. You're allowed your opinion, no matter how wrong headed I may think it is, but that's my opinion and I stand by it. Soundtrack to Your Escape kicked the piss out of anything Trivium and Devildriver could ever dream of doing, and it wasn't even that great. Remember Coal Chamber? Yeah, that kind of deflates any attempt to present Dez Fafara as anything but a pathetic joke to my ears. Devildriver is better, but it's still sh**.

Clayman was 5 years ago, retard.

The new Devildriver is the sh**. Sounds like someone is stuck in 5 years ago with comments like that (talking about Coal Chamber even). I liked what I heard of In Flames at Ozzfest and would like to see/hear more.

Just because I'm old enough to have been into metal 5 years ago and remember the gayness that was Coal Chamber does not mean I'm stuck in five years ago, I just don't like those bands. AM I NOT ALLOWED AN OPINION?

I was just pointing out that it seems like you're stuck in 5 years ago - that's my opinion. New DD kicks a$$ (first album was just ok) and IF, while still decent seem past their prime to me.

DevilDriver are plenty better than coal chamber ever had a hope of being, Dez has really found his element.

Trivium are...hard for me...they're not like anything i usually listen to, but i don't dislike them. they're good in a way i wouldn't expected.

and, well, In Flames just win. no rules, hands down, they win.

In Flames picks up where Iron Maiden left off... and Trivium is the Metallica that Metallica should have become... as an old-school metalhead who grew up on Reign In Blood, Kill 'Em All and Aces High, I gotta say these "new" bands are the future of metal - and the future is bright!

What are you f***in stupid, who ever says devildriver sucks is gay, devildriver, is a true metal band, the whole album is kickass, I don't know what people got against DEZ but it's in the past , A new band , and new style, devildriver is the reason I went to the sounds of the underground, lamb of god, too and unearth, but DD is a good band and people who hate them, then they don't know what good music is you f***ERS

I too saw Trivium with Children of Bodom at Detroit, and both bands are amazing. If you think Trivium sucks then I guess they just must not be your thing, their songs are all good and they are all talented and play some pretty sweet parts. Sure trivium might not be touring with bands of their exact genre, but thats what you have to do to get your name out. Who wouldn't give up the change to tour with COB and IF? Only like two of the biggest overseas metal bands, I think Trivium must be doing something right. How many bands do you know of that are as young as trivium and are national acts touring with international acts?
