Slipknot Announce More Cancellations, Reschedule Philadelphia Show

Due to Shawn "Clown" Crahan's father passing away, SLIPKNOT has been forced to postpone its Philadelphia~~, PA (10/27 and 10/28) and cancel its New York, NY (10/30, 10/31 and 11/1) and Lewiston, ME (11/3) shows on its FINAL VOLUME tour.
The Philadelphia show will now take place on Tues Nov 8th. This date was previously slated to be that of the second show in Worcester, MA. The second Worcester date has been cancelled so that the Philly fans will have their fair chance to see the band. Any Philly fans who can't make the rescheduled show should try to attend the Atlantic City show on 11/9.
The tour will resume, with dates happening as scheduled, on 11/4 in Montreal, Canada.
All tickets will be refunded at point of purchase. The band deeply apologizes for all cancellations and changes.
There are no plans as yet for Unearth or As I Lay Dying to play during any of the cancelled show dates.

i agree with you on all that you say. slipknot is a good band and if people hate them so much then why are they reading news about slipknot in the first place? they can go to their own websites if they don't like what they see on this one.

im dissapointed that im not in line for the show right now for a few reaons:
A.) reguardless of how st upid i think the two drummers are and all that, they still put on a great performance
b.) aild and unearth twice in one week
c.) theres no nmeed to cancel the shows beacuse clown doesnt do anything for the music anyway
d.) this is the third time slipknots backed out of lewiston maine. honetsly i think this show may have been cancelled because there were under 1000 ticket sales, i caled the box office and they said the sales werent even at 800 yet. his father passed on the 20th or so, the funeral is probably over by now. maybe shawn needs more time to get over this.
as for this whole argument. i am a slipknot fan. but im sorry, 99 percent of slipknot fans are complete f***ing morons. maggots=the gayest term ever, big pants=stupid, coreys lyrics=stupid sh** that makes you all pretend your life sucks. and its true.. but everyone who doesnt like slipknot i still reccomend you check out their show, hell, i know kids from the FSU who said they put on a good live show.

And they will eventually dissipate into nothingness. All bands will. Soilwork, In Flames, Otep, Iced Earth, Atreyu, Godsmack, Killswitch Engage, System of A Down, Lamb of God, As I Lay Dying, and Slipknot. All of them will eventually be nothing. That's how time works, realize that, please. If a band shows up and it's vocalist is claimed to be the incarnation of 'God' THEN and only THEN will they always be remembered.

slipknot i hope they relise they suck split up that would be the best day of my life. ha? they also cant even play there instruments properly. im a guitarist, drummer and bassist. the guitars are tuned so you cant hear them like sludge metal but it is worse. drumming is the good but sadly the percusionists ruin every thing. ok the bass would be good only if you could hear it i mean come on if you have six string at least let us hear it. they also ripped of slayer and then made nu-metal music which is beyond sucking it is f***in treason. that is not even the biggining you guys would even know what good music is if it hit in the eye. so the bottem line is your following a the worsed trend and slipknot are ridding it and a sad thing is that there worse album ive ever heard is vol. 3 the (subliminal versus). i could go on and on. but this is metal site hows going to really care.

And Slipknot was being interviewed. I thought the little guy who randomly came out and banged on a f***ing trash-can was pretty cute. Waste of time, but cute.
