DEFTONES' cover of DURAN DURAN's "Nightboat", which was originally meant to be included on the band's recently released "B-Sides and Rarities" album, but was eventually omitted from the CD's final track listing, has been posted online at the DEFTONES fan site DeftonesWorld.com.
DEFTONES' "B-Sides & Rarities", a collection of import-only B-sides, intriguing covers, unreleased mixes, and other choice rarities, sold nearly 27,000 copies in its first week of release (according to Nielsen SoundScan) to debut at position No. 42 on The Billboard 200 chart.
Compiled by the DEFTONES, the 14-song collection of remastered obscurities illuminates a hidden history behind the DEFTONES with more than an hour of unreleased music from bassist Chi Cheng; guitarist Stephen Carpenter; vocalist/guitarist Chino Moreno; drummer Abe Cunningham; and turntablist/keyboardist Frank Delgado. The liner notes for "B-Sides & Rarities" include a track-by-track commentary written by all five band members.

Its a cool cover, i dont know why they left it off the final record. They must be leaving a lot in the vault for a volume 2 or something, because there are a LOT of b-sides and rarities that they completely left off. ...personally, i have always thought that "The Chauffer" is an awesome track, i have had it for years, and has aided my female bed conquests many a time...
