Gravemass Releases Eponymous New Song From Upcoming Debut Album, "This Is The Way"

Canadian West Coast death metal force Gravemass has released their devastating new single "Gravemass," the next offering from their upcoming debut album "This Is The Way," arriving on March 6th. The track follows the previously released title-track single “This Is The Way,” further showcasing the band’s commitment to pure, unfiltered extremity.

"This Is The Way" is built on brutal guttural vocals, high-speed assault, extreme aggression, and unyielding sonic violence. Every track is engineered to overwhelm, punish, and dominate. It is the culmination of decades of experience across the West Coast metal scene, sharpened into a relentless debut statement.

The artwork for "This Is The Way" is designed as a visual representation of a crushing wall of sound, a direct signal of the devastation contained within. It mirrors the band’s sonic identity: heavy riffs, hellish gutturals, and a feast crafted for true black/death metal fans. The cover doesn’t just introduce the album; it warns the listener of the violence ahead.

?Gravemass is formed by long-time Vancouver metal stalwarts whose résumés span Zimmers Hole, Punch Drunk, 3 Inches of Blood, Revocation, Savannah, Process, The Golers, Subversion, Just Cause, and more. Their combined experience, over 30 years, has forged a sound that is brutal, angry, fast, dark, and evil.

"The band is made of West Coast metal heads from the Vancouver scene who have known each other for decades. I wrote the music over two months in between project breaks. I presented it to Lord Heathen, who immediately wanted to be part of the project. We recruited the rest of the band, people we’ve all known forever," adds guitarist Mayan Hate.
